Monday, May 18th
Pickleball at Westgate Library
10-11:30am. Join us at the library to play pickle ball every Monday. All ages and skill levels welcome.
Baby and Toddler Storytime
10:30-11am, Main Library (Downtown). Join us at Main Library to celebrate Dia de los Niños with a interactive storytime including songs and finger plays for ages 0-3! Dia de los Niños is a celebration of children, families, and reading that emphasizes the importance of literacy for children from all backgrounds.

This family storytime incorporates reading with singing, rhyming and movement in a fun, fanciful way to encourage early literacy development. For children of all ages and their families.

7-8:30pm, Thrive Craft Cannabis. Elevate your flow and find your chill with Higher State of Stretch, a stoner-friendly yoga session guided by ganja-certified instructor Rachel.
GED Prep Classes
2-4pm, ACS Trauma Recovery Center. Instructors will be onsite helping individuals with course work that will assist them in getting ready for their GED test.
Adult Coloring Night

10:30-11am, Alamosa Library. Enjoy stories and songs while developing early literacy. Storytime is geared toward preschool/kindergarten aged children and their adults.

Astronomy on Tap: Discovering New Particles
6pm, Bow and Arrow Brewing. Each FREE Astronomy on Tap event features accessible, engaging science presentations on topics ranging from planets to black holes to the beginning of the Universe. Events always start off with trivia and prizes to test and reward your new-found knowledge! There is always lots of time to ask questions and interact with the presenter and other scientists who inevitably stick around for the beer.

Guided Hike: Piedras Marcadas Canyon
5pm, this hike begins at the Piedras Marcadas Canyon trailhead (9421 Jill Patricia St. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114). These weekly hikes focus on the history, the geology, and the petroglyphs along this 1.9 mile hike. Binoculars are recommended. Bring water, sunscreen, warm layers, and comfortable shoes for a flat, sandy hike. Hikes will be led by park volunteer Joseph Wiexelman, PhD.
