Guided Hike: Piedras Marcadas Canyon
5pm, this hike begins at the Piedras Marcadas Canyon trailhead (9421 Jill Patricia St. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114). These weekly hikes focus on the history, the geology, and the petroglyphs along this 1.9 mile hike. Binoculars are recommended. Bring water, sunscreen, warm layers, and comfortable shoes for a flat, sandy hike. Hikes will be led by park volunteer Joseph Wiexelman, PhD.
Conversational Spanish
6pm, Corrales Community Library. This is an opportunity to learn, or build, Spanish skills by interacting with people from various dialects and cultures over coffee in a friendly, fun environment. All levels and ages are welcome!
